Awhile back I made pulled pork, sandwich rolls, and BBQ sauce. I posted the recipes for the rolls and BBQ sauce but since I was making some the other day for pork loin roast – which by the way, is WAY better for pulled pork when you loathe fatty meat – and since I have a beautiful new DSLR I thought I should photograph the occasion. 😉
Note: This time around I used a 24oz bottle of ketchup, amounts below show exactly what I used for what I photographed.
Jennifer’s Homemade BBQ sauce
1 – 24oz bottle ketchup
4 Tablespoons liquid smoke
4 Tablespoons molasses brown sugar (1 Tbsp molasses + 1 cup cane sugar)
6 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
6 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1.5-2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
Mix. Refrigerate for a few hours prior to using.
